Personal Chronicle: July 4, 2025 – July 5, 2026 A gift for reflection. A record of now. A story for what’s next.
✍️ Who am I?
I’m Greg Whitmore. Husband. Father. Senior partner at one of the top firms in Atlanta.
I’ve spent my life building a name that holds weight—on a resume, on a mailbox, on a college application. I believe in showing up, standing tall, and protecting what you’ve earned.
I came from less, so I never took comfort for granted. I gave my daughter everything I didn’t have.
Structure. Security. A future.
Who am I?
I’m someone who believes choices have consequences. I’m someone who keeps his promises, even when the world wavers. And if I seem hard, it’s because softness rarely protects what matters.
✍️ How did I get here?
By working harder than anyone in the room.
By sacrificing sleep, vacations, and second guesses.
I went from a Virginia town with three stoplights to courtroom deals worth seven figures. I didn’t inherit this life—I negotiated it. Brick by brick. Line by line.
I married well. Raised a daughter who makes us proud. Or did, until—
No. That’s unfair. She’s still her. Still good. Still mine.
How did I get here?
By doing everything right. And still feeling it all slip when I couldn’t control what came next.
What has life taught me?
That legacy isn’t just built—it’s threatened. That love doesn’t mean leniency. And that being a father means staying steady, even when the ground moves beneath you.
