USA250 Journal Project
Personal Chronicle: July 4, 2025 – July 5, 2026 A gift for reflection. A record of now. A story for what’s next.
1. Who am I?
“I’m Zeke. I don’t live anywhere permanent, but I make places mine for a minute. I’m a kid with a Sharpie, a beat in my head, and a reason to keep moving—even if no one asks why. I’m not anyone’s version of safe, but I’m still here. Still real.”
2. How did I get here?
“I left when staying meant shrinking. Been couch surfing, bench crashing, alley dreaming ever since. I got here by not disappearing. I tag my name so I don’t vanish. I skate so I don’t fall. And I spit lines to stay loud in a world that keeps looking past me.”
🪶 What We’re Not Passing Down
Journal Reflections from the USA250 Witnesses Prompt: “What are you choosing not to pass down?” “What future would make your ancestors proud—not of your survival, but of your freedom?”
August 6, 2025
“I’m not passing down shame.” The kind that sticks to your skin like smoke—like maybe you’re broken just for needing help. Freedom means you don’t gotta earn your worth.
