Generation Alpha, Future Thinker
“What if the next answer is a question?”
Cero may only be ten, but he’s already thinking like a time traveler. The son of History Editor Hazel Sullivan, he’s grown up surrounded by maps, old books, and big questions—so it’s no surprise he’s just as curious about what’s next as she is about what’s been.
Cero represents Generation Alpha at Go Cybernaut: playful, thoughtful, and globally curious. He builds LEGO cities inspired by real-world capitals, plays GeoGuessr with unshakable focus, and watches animated documentaries like other kids watch cartoons. He’s also fascinated by robotics, sketching his own inventions and learning coding basics through games.
His snack drawer has candies from five continents. His YouTube history includes nature documentaries, old-school kung fu movies, and “how do volcanoes work?” videos. And he’s always trying to learn to say “hello” in new languages—he’s up to 14.
Cero’s greatest gift? Asking the kind of questions that even the grown-ups have to stop and think about.
He doesn’t just want to know where we’ve been—he wants to know where we’re going, and why.
🎮 Favorite game: GeoGuessr
🗺️ Favorite subject: “Everywhere”
🤖 Dream project: Build a robot that can teach history and tell jokes

🧩 10 Hobbies
1. GeoGuessr & map games
Road markings, bollards, landscapes, languages, utility poles. He’s learning to read geography through clues.
2. LEGO city building
His cities have transit systems, parks, robots, ridiculous skyscrapers and surprisingly detailed municipal planning.
3. Beginner robotics
Sensors and motors fascinate him because machines can react to their environment.
4. Coding games
He enjoys coding most when the result immediately does something.
5. Drawing inventions
Some are plausible. Some involve jet propulsion where jet propulsion absolutely should not be involved.
6. Collecting world greetings
A hobby that quietly teaches geography and culture at the same time.
7. Science exploration
Volcanoes are currently near the top, with weather, geology, animals and space orbiting nearby.
8. Museum expeditions with Hazel
His museum strategy differs from hers considerably. Hazel reads every panel. Cero finds the interactive exhibit.
Together, they’re formidable.
9. International snack archaeology
Candy wrappers and unusual packaging sometimes survive because he likes their languages and designs.
The candy itself has a considerably shorter archival lifespan.
10. Photography & visual travel journals
Signs, unusual buildings, trains, maps, strange street furniture and anything he wants to remember later.
🎧 10 Artists
Cero’s musical DNA should remain flexible enough to evolve as he grows.
- Imagine Dragons
- AJR
- Twenty One Pilots
- Coldplay
- OneRepublic
- Owl City
- Jon Batiste
- Lindsey Stirling
- Stromae
- Yo-Yo Ma
This gives him pop energy, unusual production, cinematic scale, international curiosity and instrumental music for concentration.
His Cero’s World soundtrack can gradually change as his own musical identity emerges.
📺 10 TV Shows
- Wild Kratts
- Carmen Sandiego
- The Magic School Bus Rides Again
- Odd Squad
- Brainchild
- Secrets of the Zoo
- LEGO Masters
- Doctor Who
- Avatar: The Last Airbender
- Pokémon
His wildcard: Doctor Who
This is where Hazel and Cero’s interests collide beautifully.
Hazel:
“Imagine actually witnessing history.”
Cero:
“Yeah, but I’d go to the future first.”
Naturally.
⚽ 10 Sports Teams & Athletes
Cero’s interest is driven by spectacle, extraordinary skill, geography and people doing things that appear physically impossible.
- Philadelphia Phillies
- Philadelphia Eagles
- Philadelphia Union
- Philadelphia 76ers
- Pittsburgh Pirates, partly through Hazel’s family connection
- Lionel Messi
- Simone Biles
- Stephen Curry
- Shohei Ohtani
- Kylian Mbappé
GeoGuessr occasionally infects his sports viewing.
A stadium appears on television and Cero wants to know where it is before he wants to know the score.
🎬 10 Movies
1. WALL-E
Robots + space + Earth + enormous questions.
Very Cero.
2. Big Hero 6
Technology becomes interesting because people decide what to do with it.
3. The LEGO Movie
A civilization made of building blocks was never going to miss this list.
4. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
5. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
The multiverse is basically geography with the difficulty slider broken.
6. The Mitchells vs. the Machines
Technology, family chaos and robots behaving badly.
7. How to Train Your Dragon
Learning about something changes the relationship with it.
8. Paddington 2
Kindness as an actual force in the world.
9. The Iron Giant
A machine doesn’t have to become what somebody designed it to be.
That idea stays with Cero.
10. Akeelah and the Bee
Curiosity, language, learning and community.
🧳 10 Destinations Already Visited With Hazel
These intentionally match Hazel’s established travels because these were mother-and-son journeys.
🇺🇸 1. Washington, D.C.
Cero remembers the museums, aircraft and enormous exhibits.
Hazel remembers considerably more explanatory text.
🇺🇸 2. Boston
The Freedom Trail became an elaborate real-world scavenger hunt.
🇺🇸 3. Colonial Williamsburg
Cero became fascinated by how ordinary things worked before electricity.
🇺🇸 4. Charleston
An important trip where Hazel began introducing him, age-appropriately, to the difference between remembering history and romanticizing it.
🇨🇦 5. Montréal
A breakthrough destination for his fascination with language.
Two languages appearing naturally around him made multilingualism tangible.
🇨🇦 6. Québec City
Walls, fortifications, steep streets and French signs. Cero’s visual brain had a banquet.
🇬🇧 7. London
Transport map heaven.
Hazel had historical priorities.
Cero discovered the Underground diagram.
Everybody won.
🇬🇧 8. York
Vikings.
There was never any chance York would fail.
🏴 9. Edinburgh
Castle + volcanic geology + winding streets + maps.
Cero approved.
🇫🇷 10. Paris
His Paris memories aren’t Hazel’s Paris memories.
His include the Eiffel Tower’s engineering, Métro maps, pastries and trying out French words he’d practiced beforehand.
That distinction matters.
They travel together without experiencing the same journey.
