This ten minute silent film, The Christmas Angel, from 1904, is about a girl forced out in the snow to beg for her family. Also known as L’ange de Noel. Featuring Rachel Gillet and George Melies.
The 1947 animated short, Santa’s Surprise, has five children following Santa home to help with the post-holiday chores. This was the introduction of Little Audrey.
The Little Drummer Boy was an annual children’s television special about a boy with a special gift. The stop-action film was first on tv’s during the 1968 season.
