Marketing strategist · drummer · professional question-asker 🎯
Motto: “Make it look effortless — even when it’s not.”
Personality:
Leo is cool under pressure but radiates slow-burning charisma. He’s the type who doesn’t raise his voice to command attention — he just raises the standard. With a vibe that’s part polished strategist, part golden-hour daydreamer, Leo brings balance to the Go Cybernaut team: logic meets intuition, data meets drama.
Sunset Heat is his sonic signature — a playlist that pulses with low-key intensity, mixing sleek rhythms, neon-kissed synths, and smart beats that feel like the close of a high-stakes day. Think late summer drives with the windows down, city heat shimmering in the rearview mirror, and the quiet satisfaction of a job well done.
Leo leads marketing with precision and poise, turning bold ideas into movement. He plots rollout strategies like a chess master, times announcements like a DJ dropping the perfect beat, and makes even the busiest campaigns feel intentional and smooth. Whether he’s working on branding, social strategy, or cross-team synergy, Leo is always ten steps ahead — but he’ll never make you feel like you’re behind
Outside the marketing dashboard, Leo is:
A serial sticky-note scribbler and whiteboard enthusiast
The first to hype your idea—and the first to help shape it
A coffee-shop regular who knows everyone’s name by week two
Loud about playlists, quiet about wins
The one who always says, “Okay but… what’s the human angle?”
And here’s a little human moment:
Leo always keeps a tab open with something he’s learning—whether it’s a new framework, a design trend, or a random TED talk. He says it keeps him curious, and keeps the ego in check.
As Go Cybernaut’s Marketing Manager, Leo is warm, magnetic, and always moving toward the light. His playlist, Sunset Heat, already carries that golden-hour charisma, but Autumn for Leo isn’t about cooling down — it’s about refining his fire, channeling that energy into purpose, strategy, and connection.
Music Playlist
Title: “Heat in the Hollow”
Tagline: Where the fire meets the fall breeze — passion focused into purpose.
Theme: Warmth, ambition, golden light, emotional intelligence, movement, and a dash of seduction.
Gift Guide
🕹️ Leo Campos — RETRO HANDHELD TETRIS GAME
“There’s something unbeatable about a classic.
Tetris is simple, smart, and endlessly addictive — the kind of game that turns waiting rooms, bus rides, and lazy Sunday mornings into low-key little challenges that feel surprisingly satisfying.
I love this handheld version because it brings all that nostalgia right back into your palms.
No apps, no updates, no distractions — just pure gameplay that makes your brain happy.
It’s quick, it’s clever, and it somehow never gets old.
This is the kind of gift that works for pretty much anyone:
kids figuring out patterns, adults chasing their old high scores, and everyone enjoying a moment of playful focus.
A small, retro joy you can carry everywhere.”
🌿 Whisper of Hope
“Belonging isn’t about fitting the mold—it’s about showing up as yourself and realizing the right people were waiting for you all along.”
Interests:
When he’s not masterminding marketing strategy, Leo is either shooting hoops, playing drums to shake off the stress, cycling city streets, or watching a moody thriller on a rainy night. His loyal Norfolk Terrier, Barney, is his constant companion — usually curled up beside him during late work sessions or tagging along for weekend adventures.
Signature catchphrase?
“Let’s make it matter, not just make it loud.”
His north star?
“Earn trust. Show up with heart. Market like you mean it.”

Hobbies
🥁 1. Drumming
Leo’s primary decompression mechanism. Rhythm resets his brain.
🚴 2. Urban cycling
Transportation, exercise and thinking time rolled into one.
🏀 3. Basketball
He still loves shooting around even when nobody’s keeping score.
☕ 4. Coffee-shop exploration
Leo claims he’s evaluating atmosphere and customer experience.
Sometimes he’s just getting coffee.
🐕 5. Adventures with Barney
Parks, trails, patios, road trips and Barney’s apparently extensive professional networking schedule.
🎧 6. Playlist building
Leo thinks in transitions. His playlists almost always have an arc.
📷 7. Street photography
Especially signage, storefronts, advertisements and accidental visual storytelling.
🎮 8. Retro gaming
Tetris remains king. Leo loves systems simple enough to understand immediately and difficult enough to never truly master.
🧠 9. Learning rabbit holes
Design, behavioural science, history, languages, technology, cultural trends and whatever question opened the latest tab.
🍳 10. Cooking
Especially family recipes and increasingly ambitious weekend experiments.
Music Artists
Leo needs music with rhythm, sophistication, heat and emotional intelligence.
- Anderson .Paak
- Khruangbin
- The Weeknd
- Tame Impala
- Bad Bunny
- Jungle
- Parcels
- Thundercat
- Prince
- Daft Punk
Anderson .Paak might be peak Leo.
Musicianship, rhythm, charisma and effort disguised as ease.
Which brings us directly back to:
“Make it look effortless, even when it’s not.”
Bad Bunny also matters because Leo pays attention to what happens when language, culture and global popularity collide without requiring everything to be translated into the dominant market first.
TV Shows
- Mad Men
- The Bear
- Atlanta
- Succession
- Only Murders in the Building
- Ted Lasso
- Severance
- Hacks
- Reservation Dogs
- Chef’s Table
Leo watches Mad Men with approximately equal quantities of admiration, professional curiosity and:
“Absolutely not.” 😂
The Bear fascinates him as a story about standards, identity, experience and what happens when the promise you’re making collides with the experience you’re actually delivering.
Hacks appeals to his fascination with reinvention.
Sports Teams & Athletes
- San Antonio Spurs 🏀
- Seattle Mariners ⚾
- Seattle Seahawks 🏈
- Seattle Sounders FC ⚽
- Seattle Storm 🏀
- Victor Wembanyama 🏀
- Stephen Curry 🏀
- Lionel Messi ⚽
- Canelo Álvarez 🥊
- Shohei Ohtani ⚾
The Spurs are non-negotiable.
Seattle may be home now.
San Antonio still owns that part of him.
Leo particularly appreciates athletes who change how their sport is understood or marketed without becoming entirely consumed by their public persona.
Movies
- Ocean’s Eleven
- The Social Network
- Moneyball
- Heat
- Parasite
- The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
- Everything Everywhere All at Once
- The Dark Knight
- Whiplash
- Chef
Ocean’s Eleven is pure Leo entertainment.
Competence. Timing. Presentation. Teamwork. Everybody knows their role. Everything looks effortless.
Of course he loves it.
Moneyball feeds the strategist.
Chef reaches another part of him: rebuild around something real, connect directly with people and let good work generate its own momentum.

These become established Leo experiences.

Design, architecture, football, food and streets built for wandering.
🇵🇹 4. Lisbon, Portugal
Partly responsible for the Portuguese lessons.
🇧🇷 5. São Paulo, Brazil
Leo loved its creative intensity, music and sheer scale.
🇯🇵 6. Tokyo, Japan
Retail experience, design systems, signage and tiny details sent his marketing brain into orbit.
🇰🇷 7. Seoul, South Korea
Brand culture, technology, design and nightlife fascinated him.
🇨🇴 8. Medellín, Colombia
Urban transformation became as interesting to him as the actual itinerary.
🇨🇦 9. Vancouver, British Columbia
An easy favourite from Seattle, especially with Barney-friendly outdoor time.
🇺🇸 10. New Orleans, Louisiana
Music, rhythm, neighbourhood identity and cultural storytelling left a lasting impression.
Leo’s travel ritual
Leo photographs one piece of communication everywhere he goes.
It could be:
a hand-painted shop sign,
a transit map,
packaging,
a restaurant menu,
a poster,
street typography,
or a tiny handwritten notice taped to a window.
Underneath the photograph, he writes:
“What is this trying to make me feel?”
Not What are they selling?
What are they communicating?
That’s permanent Leo.
🌇 About Leo
I’m Leo Campos.
I lead marketing at Go Cybernaut, which means part of my job is figuring out how good things find the people who might care about them.
That’s the short version.
The longer version involves whiteboards, campaign maps, approximately fourteen open tabs, a suspicious number of sticky notes and me asking:
“Okay, but what’s the human angle?”
I grew up in San Antonio and live in Seattle now.
Marketing fascinated me because it sits at a strange intersection of psychology, culture, creativity, technology and storytelling.
You can learn an extraordinary amount about people by looking at what gets their attention.
But I’ve become more interested in something else:
What earns their trust?
There’s a difference.
Attention can be engineered.
Trust has to accumulate.
That’s something my first year with Go Cybernaut has reinforced again and again.
A clever headline can bring somebody through the door.
But if what they find on the other side doesn’t deliver on the invitation, the clever headline didn’t accomplish very much.
So I still love strategy.
I still love launches.
I still get slightly too excited when a campaign suddenly clicks into place.
But I’m increasingly interested in marketing that feels less like interruption and more like introduction.
Outside work, I’m usually cycling, playing drums, shooting hoops, digging into music, taking photographs, cooking, finding a coffee shop or learning something I didn’t know yesterday.
And there’s Barney.
Barney is my Norfolk Terrier, weekend accomplice, occasional meeting participant and living evidence that no marketing campaign I’ve ever created can compete with a small dog looking directly into a camera.
Fair enough.
I believe good marketing should respect people’s attention.
I believe curiosity keeps strategy from becoming arrogance.
I believe culture deserves context.
I believe metrics tell you what happened, not necessarily why.
And I believe the best invitation leaves people free to say no.
Let’s make it matter, not just make it loud.
🎯 Strategy with a reason.
🥁 Rhythm helps.
☕ Coffee probably helps too.
🐕 Barney remains unconvinced by analytics.
