1. Who am I?
“I’m a worker. I’m a veteran. I’m someone who keeps tools clean and flags upright. I’m not fancy, but I’ve stood where I said I’d stand, and I still believe in showing up—even when things don’t make sense anymore.”
2. How did I get here?
“I got here the long way. Through work boots and bad backs, through layoffs and loyalty. I voted red my whole life ‘cause it’s what made sense. Now I sit on my porch and wonder if it still does. I got here by holding tight. Maybe too tight.”
