I’m Daniel Reyes—but most folks here just call me Pastor Dan.
I’m a man who believes in listening. In staying. In faith that doesn’t need to shout.
I wear the collar, yes—but I’m more denim than doctrine most days.
I’ve learned that grace is not a sermon. It’s the casserole left on a porch. The silence held without rushing in to fill it.Deep down, I believe that people don’t need to be saved. They need to be seen.
I’m still working on how to do that better.
✍️ Pastor Dan – Prompt Two: “How did I get here?”
Born on the east side of town. Left for a while, but Logan has a way of calling you home.
Seminary gave me questions. The people here gave me reasons to live them.
I took this post thinking I’d preach. But mostly I listen. To grief, to stubborn hope, to stories that don’t fit in neat little parables.
I got here because I stopped trying to be the answer.
Now I walk the ridge line each morning, pray with my hands in the soil, and try to show up for people without expecting anything back.
That seems to be enough.
