CyberVybe | Week of September 14, 2026
Welcome to another week at Go Cybernaut, where curiosity has a passport, music is usually playing somewhere, books open doors, and there is always another corner of the world waiting to be explored.
This week we follow seven Tarot cards through a message about carrying less and finding our way through uncertainty. We shine the Cybernaut Spotlight on Poppy Sawayama, board a train toward the end of the world, turn up Yazz, welcome the changing season, celebrate countries and curious occasions around the globe, and do a little travelling from the Go Cybernaut Library.
Come along. 🌎🍂✨
🌙 A Message From the Cards
Our cards for the week, in the order they appeared, are:
Ten of Wands • Page of Swords Reversed • Eight of Swords Reversed • The Moon • Judgement Reversed • Queen of Cups Reversed • The Hanged Man Reversed
These cards aren’t here to tell the future. Think of them instead as a message of intention. Take whatever speaks to you and simply leave the rest behind.
The Ten of Wands suggests that someone has been carrying too much for too long. Strength may have gotten you this far, but strength doesn’t require carrying everything forever. Give yourself permission to put something down.
The Page of Swords Reversed cautions against mental noise, misunderstandings and overthinking. Not every opinion requires a response, and not every thought deserves your energy.
With the Eight of Swords Reversed, something begins to loosen. A situation that once felt impossible may reveal another option. You don’t have to solve everything at once. Sometimes freedom begins simply by recognizing that you still have choices.
Then The Moon reminds us that we won’t always see the entire road ahead. Move gently through uncertainty and allow time, intuition and facts to illuminate what isn’t clear yet.
Judgement Reversed asks you to stop putting yourself on trial for what you should have known, done or become. You can learn from yesterday without allowing it to sentence tomorrow.
The Queen of Cups Reversed turns compassion inward. If you’ve spent too much time caring, worrying or carrying emotions for everyone else, your own cup may need filling.
Finally, the Hanged Man Reversed asks whether something is being held too tightly. There is a difference between giving up and letting go. Some things need action. Others need space.
The week’s intention: Carry less. Question the noise. Trust that choices remain. Be gentle with yourself while the path becomes clearer.
🎧 Sonic Offering: The Only Way Is Up
After that journey through the cards, our Sonic Offering arrives at precisely the right moment.
This week we’re turning up “The Only Way Is Up” by Yazz.
Sometimes up doesn’t mean a spectacular transformation.
Up can be getting out of bed. Trying again. Creating something. Taking a break. Asking for help. Laughing unexpectedly. Putting down one of those Ten of Wands.
Small upward movements still count.
Turn it up. 🎶
🌸 Cybernaut Spotlight: Poppy Sawayama
This week’s Cybernaut Spotlight belongs to Poppy Sawayama.
Spend some time getting to know Poppy, her interests, personality, evolving perspective and the place she has created for herself within the Go Cybernaut universe.
Every Cybernaut brings something different to our growing family, and this week the light belongs to Poppy. 🌸
🌎 Around the World This Week
September gives our passports quite a workout.
We begin in Virginia, exploring the landscapes, history, communities and character of the Old Dominion.
Then we’re celebrating something that transformed the way much of the world searches for information: Google.
For curious minds everywhere, Online Education Day celebrates the remarkable ability to learn beyond the traditional classroom. A lesson can begin at a kitchen table, in a library, from a favourite chair, or wherever curiosity happens to find you.
Our journey then turns toward Central America.
We’re celebrating Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, four neighbouring countries, each deserving to be explored through its own history, people, traditions, landscapes, food and cultural identity.
Then it’s onward to Mexico, where centuries of history meet extraordinary regional cultures, art, music, food and landscapes.
Across the Pacific we visit Malaysia, before travelling back across the globe to the remarkable geography and culture of Chile.
One CyberVybe.
Quite a few passport stamps. ✈️🌎
🎨 Play, Collect and Stay Curious
Not every celebration requires a passport.
Some require Play-Doh.
Play-Doh Day gives grown-ups an excellent excuse to rediscover something children already know: creativity doesn’t need to accomplish anything to be worthwhile.
Roll it. Squish it. Build something strange. Flatten the whole thing and start again.
Nearby, Rock Collecting Day invites us to look down while exploring.
That little stone beneath your feet may contain a geological story vastly older than anything humans have ever built.
Pick up a rock.
Ask where it came from.
Curiosity can begin almost anywhere. 🪨
🥨 Oktoberfest
We’re also celebrating Oktoberfest, one of the world’s most recognizable festivals and an opportunity to explore Bavarian traditions, music, food, clothing, history and celebration.
Beyond the famous festival tents lies a cultural tradition with more than two centuries of history.
Pull up a virtual seat and explore with us.
💕 Wife Appreciation Day
Wife Appreciation Day offers something quieter.
Take a moment to notice the person who shares the ordinary days.
Appreciation doesn’t always need grand gestures. Sometimes being thanked, listened to, noticed and genuinely valued carries considerably more weight.
Tell someone why they matter.
🍁 Autumn Equinox
And then the season turns.
The Autumn Equinox arrives in the Northern Hemisphere, bringing us close to that annual balancing point between daylight and darkness.
There is something beautifully appropriate about autumn arriving alongside this week’s Tarot message.
Trees don’t apologize for changing.
They simply begin releasing what they no longer need.
Perhaps we can borrow something from them.
Release what has finished. Protect what needs tending. Gather what nourishes you. Make room for whatever comes next.
Welcome, autumn. 🍂
🚂 Bucket List: The Train at the End of the World
Pack the imaginary suitcase because our Bucket List Destination takes us to the southern reaches of Argentina.
We’re heading for Ushuaia and boarding the historic Southern Fuegian Railway, better known as The Train at the End of the World.
The railway carries travellers through the extraordinary landscape of Tierra del Fuego, surrounded by mountains, forests, rivers and the rugged beauty of Patagonia.
It also happens to suit this week’s message rather wonderfully.
A train doesn’t need to see its entire journey.
It follows the track ahead.
Around the next bend, another piece of the landscape appears.
Sometimes that’s enough.
All aboard. 🚂🏔️
🎶 Playlist: Into the Great Wide Open
Our musical journey continues with Into the Great Wide Open, a 20-track Go Cybernaut playlist created around possibility, movement, exploration and whatever might exist beyond the familiar horizon.
After a Tarot reading filled with questions about burdens, choices, uncertainty and changing perspective, even the title feels like an invitation.
What might happen if we leave a little room for the unknown?
Headphones on.
Let’s find out. 🎧
📚 This Week’s Book Selection
Our book selection this week is:
525 New and Inspiring Scrapbook Sketches – Volume 1 by Anna Lyons.
Sometimes the hardest part of making something is confronting the empty page.
A collection of creative prompts and sketches can provide the little spark that gets the hands moving and the imagination wandering.
Ideas become experiments.
Experiments become pages.
Pages become memories.
There is no requirement that creativity produce a masterpiece.
Sometimes making something is reason enough. ✏️📖
📖 Travel the Go Cybernaut Library
No airport?
No suitcase?
No problem.
The Go Cybernaut Library is open, and this week’s shelves have become departure gates.
🌺 Hawaii takes us into the landscapes, traditions, history and cultures of the Pacific islands.
🇨🇺 Cuba brings Caribbean history, architecture, music, culture and extraordinary character to our journey.
🌴 Fiji carries us deep into the South Pacific and an archipelago filled with distinct communities, traditions and spectacular landscapes.
🇮🇸 Iceland changes the scenery dramatically with volcanoes, glaciers, waterfalls, geothermal landscapes and Nordic culture.
🌽 Finally, we travel to the American Midwest and Iowa, discovering the communities, history, landscapes and stories of the Hawkeye State.
Five destinations.
One library.
No baggage fees.
💛 Before You Go
Thank you for spending some of your week with us.
There are millions of places to wander across this enormous internet, and somehow your journey brought you here.
We’re very glad it did.
If life is treating you kindly right now, we hope you can carry a little of that kindness into someone else’s day.
But we want to leave an extra light on for anyone who has arrived here while facing something difficult.
Perhaps you’re worried.
Perhaps you’re hurting.
Perhaps something didn’t work out.
Perhaps you’re exhausted from carrying responsibilities nobody else can see.
Perhaps you’re waiting for an answer.
Or perhaps you’re simply having one of those stretches of life when everything feels heavier than it should.
We hope the burden becomes lighter.
We hope something unexpectedly good finds you.
We hope someone treats you kindly.
We hope you find another choice where you thought there wasn’t one.
And above all, we hope better days really are just around the corner.
You don’t need a special occasion to come back.
Explore a country. Discover some music. Open a book. Meet a Cybernaut. Celebrate something wonderfully obscure. Take an imaginary train to the end of the world.
Or simply stay awhile.
At Go Cybernaut, the lights rarely go dim.
Whenever you need somewhere gentle to wander, wonder, discover, create, learn, or simply exist for a little while, there will be a light on here.
Come explore anytime.
This is your soft place to land. 💛🌎✨
